Common / frequently asked questions I get about Wedding Photography

Do you travel?

I most certainly do, and in fact I love travelling to new venues. All of my wedding packages include travel within approximately 50 miles of Manchester which generally covers Lancashire, Cheshire, The Lake District and Yorkshire. I do cover weddings all over the UK and abroad but additional travel costs may apply. If you’re getting married further afield just get in touch and I’ll let you know what the costs would be!

We love your natural photographs but can we have some group shots too?

Yep! My approach is based on being unobtrusive and in the background throughout most of the wedding day however I totally get that some more staged group shots of the wedding party along with friends and family might be something you’re after. I do usually advise not to go too wild with your group shot list so you and your guests can get back enjoying the day but we can chat about your schedule and see what works best.

Can we meet up?

Sure thing! I love nothing more than chatting about weddings with a brew and some biscuits. I have a small studio space near Bury where I’m available most weekdays through the day or evenings. Send me a message through my contact form and lets work out a date!

How do we get the wedding images?

After the wedding you’ll get a private password protected online gallery where you can view, share and download your images. These are the full size, edited images just the same as you would have received on a USB but you get instant access along with the ability to share your gallery with friends or family if you wish.

All galleries have the ability to order prints from a professional print lab and if you do still want a USB they can be ordered directly from the gallery too.

How many images do we get?

It does vary between weddings and I never limit the amount of images you’ll receive.  As an estimate you’d get at least 400 images for a Full day wedding but it can be much more depending on what’s going on at the wedding and the number of guests.

When do we get the images after the wedding?

I know its hard waiting patiently for your images to be ready so within a few days after the wedding I’ll have a few ready to send over to you. The full gallery of images will be done within 4 – 6 weeks of the wedding.
